Tell us about your career journey since you graduated…

Since graduating from Brunel I've completed an MSc in Marketing and Management, been through HPE's (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) graduate scheme and now work in a senior management position in a start-up company.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

Typically, I'll work with our CEO on company strategy, optimise our revenue technology stack and manage sales and marketing initiatives with the teams.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Being able to take on a senior strategic position quite early into my career and really shape the company’s direction.

How would you say Brunel helped you to get where you are today?

Brunel was the best possible foundation for my career - I might not use my degree every day but the way I was taught to think, and the opportunities as a Student Ambassador, have given me a broad and adaptable skill set.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

It's one of the best universities for what I studied, with a focus on teaching. I'd recommend it for the pedigree of the lecturers and the opportunities available to students.

What is your best memory of studying here?

Working at the Open Days on campus and being a Student Ambassador!

If you could give one piece of advice to new students, what would that be?

The more you invest in yourself now, the greater the payoff in your career.

What would be your top tip or advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey?

Be bold and take risks.
